Is /grill-me Still Useful?
Grill me is probably one of the most widely used skills ever made. It asks AI agents to keep asking you for input, for every bit of detail.
However, recently I have been so tired of using it. When I design, I have only a few rules: simple, less awkward, has taste, orthogonal, and little maintenance going forward.
So instead of using grill-me, my current practice is to encode a few design principles in AGENTS.md and tell Claude “Use your best judgement.” It simply works.
